As the company's head of technology, I worked with the rest of the executive team to define our strategic objectives, plan our strategy for implementing product features, and was the primary developer of our platform overseeing a small team of developers.
Our services mashed up our own data with third-party suppliers of dealer inventories and pricing information. Our lead generation system was developed around standard automotive industry data formats enabling our users' requests to be delivered directly into a dealership's CRM. We provided consumers with an anonymous channel to communicate with dealers, and tools to compare and calculate the best price on a new vehicle. Dealers received a dashboard where they could review inbound leads and communicate with potential buyers.
