Unmatched Talent. Incredibly Humble.
With a career spanning 20 years, I bring a wealth of experience to the table including seven years in operational management and over a decade as a software engineer. Along the way I've held roles in marketing, product development and project management across a wide array of industries.
I originally planned to attend school for architecture, but after relocating to Silicon Valley I fell into a career as a Windows NT System Administrator. My arrival in the Bay Area coincided with the collapse of the first tech bubble in 1999, and shortly thereafter the company I worked for ceased to exist. I assure you that neither was my fault.
After leaving the Bay Area and experiencing one winter in Seattle, I moved to Los Angeles and found work in online marketing and web development. Most of those early years were spent in the travel sector working for companies in top markets like New York, Los Angeles, London and Madrid.
Returning to Silicon Valley in 2006 with somewhat better timing, I began working at startups as a UI Developer and QA Engineer before delving into the dark magic of application programming and system design. The next few years of my life were immersed in software design patterns, database management, and robust system architecture.
I soon found myself in leadership positions managing teams and focusing my attention more on operations where I could combine my experience in marketing, technology, and product development into business intelligence analytics and process optimization.
During the pandemic, I relocated to Missouri and have spent the last few years consulting, researching artificial intelligence, studying new technologies, and renovating houses.
Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to innovation and staying abreast of technological advancements. My experience at the convergence of business and technology has given me a comprehensive view of how organizations work, and the knowledge to make them work better.
I am always interested in hearing about new opportunities. Feel free to contact me.
